Methodology

Multi-step plan that starts first and foremost in the actual finding and mapping out of these vernal pools in the area designated by the state as Bryant University property.

After we have found a significant amount of pools:

We made weekly observations of the vernal pools and documented their progression in their cycle.

Once the specific season for animal observation is reached, we will be also look for life that directly correlates to a healthy and natural vernal pool.

We compiled a generous amount of research on our vernal pools including the conditions, i.e. inhabitants and vernal pool cycle

We will recommend the continued or needed protection of these mini-ecologies in our own backyard.
